Greece, Germany and Czech Republic became the first European teams to qualify for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019

Greece and Germany both clinched qualification for FIBA's flagship competition by improving to 8-0 records in Group L with Greece beating Georgia 86-85 and Germany defeating Israel 112-98 in overtime. The Czechs held off Bosnia and Herzegovina 85-80 to move to 7-1 in Group K and qualify for the World Cup for the first time
