Cristiano Ronaldo: Florentino Perez never spoke to me from the heart

Speaking openly for the first time about his departure from Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed that president Florentino Perez viewed him only in business terms.
After almost a decade in the Spanish capital, one filled with success, the Portuguese star left in the summer for a new adventure with Italian champions Juventus.
In an interview with France Football, he has discussed the lack of warmth and affection he felt in his relationship with the main man at Real Madrid.
"I felt inside the club, especially from the president, that they no longer considered me the same way that they did in the start.
"The president looked at me as if I was no longer indispensable to them."
Ronaldo was also keen to stress that his move to Italy was not financially motivated and explained why footballing reasons convinced him that Juventus were the best fit.
"If it had all been about money, I'd have moved to China, where I would have earned five times as much as here or at Real Madrid," continued the former Manchester United man.
