Fernando Alonso: Lewis Hamilton Is One Of The Best In Formula One history.

As Lewis Hamilton looks to secure his fifth Formula One world championship, rival Fernando Alonso has said that he is one of the best in history.
Alonso explained that few can compete with the British driver when it comes to his success in the sport.
"It is difficult to compare different times and different ways to win those championships," said the Spaniard.
"Lewis probably winning five now, same as [Manuel] Fangio, it is a great achievement, and if one had to do it in our generation I am happy it is him.
"He showed talent and commitment.
"When the car was dominating he won and when it wasn't he still put in performances to show his talent, that is difficult to see these days."
In fact, Alonso went on to explain that he has always felt that his former McLaren teammate would be a hit.
"He showed the talent from day one and was fighting for the championship in his rookie year, winning in 2008," Alonso added.

Barcelona corporate director Pancho Schroder concedes Lionel Messi's huge buyout clause may not be enough to frighten off big spenders. The Argentine maestro put a halt to speculation he could leave the Catalan giants by signing a contract extension until 2021 in November, with the deal including a €700 million release clause. But Schroder told Sky Sports: "We have established a clause that we consider sufficient for Messi to retire at Barcelona, but, having said that, a year ago we thought that Neymar's clause was also good enough to keep him and last summer it proved that it was not so. Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo has dismissed as “fake news” allegations from a US woman that he raped her in a Las Vegas hotel room in 2009. “What they said today? Fake, fake news,” the Portuguese player said in an Instagram video. “They want to promote [themselves by using] my name. It’s normal. They want to be famous to say my name, but it is part of the job. I am a happy man and all good.” His comments come after German magazine  Der Spiegel  published an interview with Kathryn Mayorga in which she publicly identified herself as the woman making the allegation. The same magazine last year published a  report  stating Ronaldo had reached a $375,000 settlement with an unnamed woman in 2010.
